Eurovision Monologue
Me: My favourites are still the topless drummers in the leather trousers that were the backup in what I am pretty sure was the Denmark one.
But I wasn't really paying attention to the woman singing because hot topless drummers in leather trousers.
Me: hahah trololo I just checked the video -- the drummers actually have clothes on. I must have gotten it mixed up, or maybe I was using my brain power to remove their clothes.
Me: But I mean with those fitted military jackets they may as well be naked.
Me: In particular the two that flank Emmelie. omg
Friend: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! This has to be my favourite link that you have commented on. Your stream of consciousness was freaking hilarious!
Me: OK it turns out I wasn't mentally stripping men -- there WERE hot topless drummers in leather trousers -- they were just the ones from Ireland instead. How oddly fitting.
Me: How Eurovision should have been decided -- the drummers from Ireland have a drum-off with the drummers from Denmark, topless.

I’m the sort of person that needs obsessions — maybe I go through phases of stuff that I obsess over, but there is always something and I almost just throw myself into it compulsively. Whether it be a book universe, or character or interest or mental fixation. Without something to get obsessed over, I feel like I drift or lack purpose. On love triangles, squares, and so much more.
Friend 1: Just started [Prodigy] today and already cannot put it down!! (Despite the obvious love 'square' -- is that even a thing?)
Friend 2: The Love Square was a thing in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Friend 1: So it was! Is it actually called that though?
Friend 2: Probably not haha, I just thought of the only other 4-way romance I know of.
Me: It's called 'an orgy'.

Younger brother whilst playing Portal [in a pleased voice]: 'Oh I get cake!'
Rookie error.
Me [screaming across the room]: 'THE CAKE IS A LIE!'

Helping my little brother get through a level of Portal but singing ‘Still Alive’ at the same time to be conversely de-motivational.
